Summer - round I

After our July whirlwind tour through Canada I am not exactly sure where to begin but I suspect it is best to take this in stages.

As I flip back through the pics we did take, I am amazed at the things we didn't capture. Guess we better come back for another visit, eh?? Appologies to those who escaped our lens (Dunc and Jill, Dunk and Drew, Crabby and Steve-o, ...), and cheers to all who shared the time with us! It was great to see as many of you as we did, and to those we missed, hopefully we will catch you the next time.

Ok, round I:  MTB weekend in Elicottville --

 

Let it be known that knitting is an incredibly important part of a mountain biking weekend!

Also, for the record, there is a Canadian flag on the near side of the porch :)

Hot new ride!!!

There was actually some riding involved in the weekends' shinanagans, however apparently we felt it unworthy of the camera. That, or we were breathing too hard to think straight :) Fortunately Richard did manage to snap a shot of my lovely new True North hard tail bicycle, complete with S&S couplers so it packs up neatly into a backpack that travels as regular luggage!! Thanks Hugh - she is absolutely lovely! There are some much more artsy (and cleaner!) shots of my lovely bike on the TN website if you are in need of more deets :)

And, as per any outing with the Prouse Pair and the Beer Evanses, we ate, and ate well!
