sju

Sju is a tough word to say in Swedish. The 'sj' sound is made by blowing lots of air out of your mouth while getting just the right breathy toned syllable overlying the sound of the air. Easy, right? Ha! And, of course, it  appears in lots of useful words, like, hospital (sjukhuset), nurse (sjuksköterska), sick (sjuk), lake (sjö) ... the list goes on.

Fortunately this sound is starting to come out much more easily, and I no longer have a ban on taking trains at 17:27, since I can now say that time :)

It was all too fitting that a rather tough-to-identify item arrived behind door sju:

Do you have any idea what this body shop product is? We had to look it up. Amazingly, we had made it all these years without having ever used a facial brush with lid. Shocking really.  Something tells me I know what is behind door number 8 --- guess we will soon be able to report whether the facial brush with lid experience is one we really should not have been without!

In the spirit of hard work, I present to you one heck of an effort's worth of pepparkakshus or ginger bread house:

They may have burned down the town goat, but the town's famous pepparkakshus, standing about 2 m tall, is still going strong!
